Probably God’s greatest gift to man is the Brain. It is not something that is to be taken for granted. It needs continuous stimulation and regular exercise it to keep operating smoothly. One of the best ways to stimulate the brain is to exercise it.
Exercising the brain is necessary since not exercising the brain will lead to brain disorders. The exercising of the brain helps in improved concentration and memory. It also helps in developing coherent thinking and having mental clarity.
Research has shown that exercising the brain stimulates the various sites within the nervous system. This triggers off pleasure chemicals like serotonin and dopamine. These are the chemicals which make us to feel calm, happy, or euphoric. Given below are some of the ways to stimulate your brain.
  1. Stimulate your brain by doing unfamiliar tasks.
  2. You can stimulate your brain by traveling as this will help you learn new things and expand your horizons.
  3. Do Neurobics using all your five senses.
  4. Doing physical exercise is also very good for the brain as it increases the creation of neurons in our brains.
  5. Develop the habit of reading. This will help you in gaining new knowledge and also help in exercising your brain.
  6. Try strengthening your memory by memorizing the frequently used telephone numbers.
  7. Learning is another aspect which will help in stimulating your brain. Never stop learning. Learn about one or two new things everyday.
